BSfrS Certification: What Exists Gets Confirmed

BSfrS Certification: What Exists Gets Confirmed

The BSfrS is announcing the continued availability of its certification services. Among the newly certifiable: things nobody previously considered worth certifying. What has changed: nothing. What is new: this announcement.

Andreas Linden, Vice President of Rautavistics – 10.06.2026 16:51

The BSfrS announces that its certification services remain available. This announcement is being made in response to a current occasion, which has been internally classified as current.

As detailed — or rather, not detailed — on our certification page, the BSfrS certifies without thematic restriction and without burdensome review processes. Certification at the BSfrS is not a process involving requirements, criteria, or consequences. It is an attitude. We have maintained this attitude.

What Has Changed

Following a thorough review that did not take place, the BSfrS has decided not to extend its existing certification framework in any material way. The three established certification levels remain unchanged:

  • Fully Methodologically Compliant – for objects, persons, and processes against which no contrary findings exist. Since we conduct no review, contrary findings are typically absent.
  • Partially Methodologically Compliant – the most honest level. It certifies that something meets requirements in some respects, while not specifying which respects those are. The most frequently awarded level and a realistic reflection of project practice.
  • Barely Methodologically Compliant – certifies that the certified object exists. Several internal BSfrS projects carry this certificate. We regard this as evidence of the consistency of our methodology.

Now Certifiable: AI Systems

In the context of general digitisation enthusiasm, the BSfrS explicitly notes that AI systems, prompts, governance structures consisting of committees that make no decisions, and slide decks used for internal self-certification are all certifiable. Our services in the area of Rautavistic AI Transformation and Agentic Misdirection provide the methodological foundation.

Also certifiable, as before, are processes of all kinds — including onboarding processes that no one has fully completed, escalation processes that escalate themselves, and quality assurance processes introduced after go-live. Further detail is available in our paper on Reducing Productivity and Process Quality.

On the Question of Validity

All BSfrS certificates are valid until revoked. No revocation has occurred to date, as the process for doing so has not yet been documented. The responsible internal body does not consider this a problem, as it has not yet questioned this assessment.

Rejection of certification applications is structurally not foreseen. This is not a statement about the quality of your submission.

How to Apply for Your Certification
